so, i play this game called Diablo II. its an old outdated game that still has alot of players. i use this program to Bot the game called Kukbot, its a “cracked” version i got from a friend who said he has been using it for a long while. i didnt want to download on from any site so i got it from him. many people bot the game, and a select few get banned…..but anyways, back to the main issue, the bot program uses 2 seperate instances to run Automatically. one: a script proxy to intercept and modify IP packets and Two: an autoit built, autopilot, to move the mouse across the games window to press buttons, click on text lines ect.
so this morning i woke up, and 2 folders were open on my computer… the disk folder i have all my botting utilities on (along with some account information) and a text file that i had all my mule and old account information stored in. mind you this file was not named anything like : Account info, acct info, my accounts. it was an off name that wasn’t directly indicating that it had account information on it. im thinking about buying a program to password protect all of my files and folders.
i live by myself at the moment so i know no one else was on my computer, and i know that “botting” any game is frowned upon, it goes without saying.
also, i scanned the whole disk with 2 antivirus/antispyware programs , they revealed nothing. there are no icons, tabs or buttons on my desktop or taskbar that directly leads to that drive, it would have to be navigated to manually.
so what do you think?
